Retainers

Retainers are removable or fixed appliances used to hold/maintain teeth in their corrected position following orthodontic therapy.
Removable retainers come in two varieties:
Hawley Retainer: Made of acrylic and metal
Essix Retainer: Made of clear thermos-plastic material.

Fixed Bonded Retainers consist of a short flat/round wire that is bonded/glued to the back of the teeth.
